Washable, twistable, toddler-proof

The youngest table has different rules. Ink has to come off skin, clothes and the furniture; nothing can be sharpened, snapped or peeled; and the caps should be too big to swallow. This shelf is built to those rules rather than to a color chart.

The washable markers carry two ends, a round dot tip and a pointed conical one, so dot art, outlines and coloring all come from one pen. The silky twistables glide like a crayon without the drag or the flaking, twist up instead of needing a sharpener, and their oversized caps click together into wheels and shapes once the coloring is finished.
